Garner Grill (at the pavilion)
Come to the restaurant to enjoy the best burgers in the Hill Country. The famous Maverick Burger is topped with bacon, cheese and jalapenos and is a Garner favorite served with our spicy twisted fries. Other favorites include grilled chicken sandwiches, Brett’s Famous hot wings, the dirty dog (hot dog with mustard, jalapenos, onions, chili and cheese), and fried pickles. The grill is open from Memorial Friday until Labor Day from 10:30am-10:00 pm, with drinks served until 11:00 pm. Come in and get a taste of the best food in the Frio Canyon. This is the spot to find all of the latest and greatest in Garner Souvenirs. Every year you are sure to find the best tees in the area, not to mention all of the other unique and cool items. The Dance!!!
The Dance is a big tradition here at Garner-it's been going on since the 40's. The current dance calendar is on the home page of this site. Beginning Memorial weekend, the dance is 7 days a week until Labor Day. The dance is held at the pavilion, is hosted by a traditional jukebox and is a tradition you don't want to miss! So bring your quarters and your dancin' shoes and LET'S DANCE!

Garner Park Store-
You will find One of everything!
The Garner Park Convenience store is located on the south end of the park in old Garner, near the Pecan Grove Camping area. The park store has a little bit of everything (look to the right). Summer hours are 7 days a week from 8am-10pm. Fresh coffee is served every morning. Cash, MC and Visa are accepted.

Rentals:
Tube Rentals: $6 per day, $10 deposit-per tube
Must have a valid (current) ID, be at least 18 y.o.
Tube Rentals are due NOON the day after rental
rentals kept after noon will be charged for an additional day
Tube Shuttle: Price TBA-pending gas prices. Tube Shuttle starts during the summer and is 7 days a week. The shuttle will take you up river and you will float back into the park, getting out at your car or camp site.
BBQ Pit Rental: We rent out heavy duty, extremely nice steel BBQ pits. The Rental fee is ONLY $15 a day. A deposit of $250 is required in either cash or preauthorized on a CC (MC or Visa ONLY). Surprisingly-some still have not been returned. A matching ID and CC are required. Renter must be at least 18years old. Rentals are due by Noon the day after rental.
Bike Rentals: Garner has some great trails for nice bike riding. The park store rents basic bikes (no gears). Bikes are ADULT size ONLY. No kid bikes at this time. No attachments for babies etc. Bikes rentals are only $6 per hour. Rentals are by the hour only. No after dark or over night rentals available. deposit of $250 per bike-either in cash or preauthorized on a CC. Not Negotiable.
Table Rental: Valid ID, must be at least 18 years old. Rental due by noon the day after rental. $10 a day with a $50 deposit-either in cash or preauthorized on a credit card. MC or Visa only!
Other Rentals available
Paddle Boats: Rented at the dam. Rented for $10 an hour. Renter must be at least 18 years old, valid ID and sign a waiver. CASH ONLY. Paddle Boats can not be taken out of the river or transported.
Kayaks: Rented at the dam. Singles are rented for $10 an hour, doubles are rented for $12 per hour. Renter must be at least 18 years old, valid ID and sign a waiver . CASH ONLY. Kayaks can not be taken out of the river or transported.
Putt-Putt: Rentals are $4 per person (regardless of age). Your rental fee includes one putter, one ball and 18 holes. Wanna go for round 2? Play again and it's only $2 per person! Have your own stuff? The rental fees still apply during operating hours.
Deposits are taken on rentals to ensure the items are returned clean and in good condition. Your deposit will be returned when the item is inspected for all parts, damages etc. Deposits are not given back unless the item is returned. If the item is returned past the due time, the renter will be charged for an additional day. Deposits are not negotiable. The deposit allows us to buy a new item in the event the rented one is lost or stolen. Deposits reflect the cost of the item being rented.
